VIRTUAL Gesture Drawing Class with Jonnathon Cripple (October 25th)

VIRTUAL Gesture Drawing Class with Jonnathon Cripple (October 25th)
Join Lindsey and model Jonnathon Cripple on the evening of the 25th for a spooky spectacular drawing event. Class starts at 6:30 and ends at 9:00pm PST. Draw quick poses anywhere from 10 second warm-ups to 5-minute “long poses”. Capture spooky character drawings that you'll be proud to share on socials or with your friends.
This class will be in-person and streamed live for those who can't make it to Pasadena. THIS ticket is for the VIRTUAL class. If you’d like to buy a ticket for the in-person class you can check out my other listing.
In order to stream the best video quality we will be working with Youtube Live. This means you simply need a Youtube account to view the Live. Each attendee will be admitted to this private event through their email address. The link will arrive to you when we go live for the class, not upon purchase.
Who is this class for?
This class is for all ages and all levels. Yes, it will be more difficult for those who have never done gesture drawing but I will help guide you along the process. As with all art forms, it's hard when you begin but growth does come with practice.
What will be on screen during the class?
The main video content will be positioned directly at Jonnathon’s poses. A small portion of the screen will be utilized for sharing my drawing board for those who are newer at this practice and look for guidance.
What materials do I need for this class?
Anything you want to use! Traditionally, we work on a large drawing board and 18x24 paper, but it’s not a requirement. Ideally you work large and with any drawing material you want. Some examples are charcoal or charcoal pencils, Copic markers, Prismacolor pencils, ink or Micron pens, and wet media if you’re feeling really fancy. Whatever you have will be just fine for this class.
Is this class going to be a regular event?
That’s the goal! TBD on information for the next event.
